Testimony, investigators and practical joke

Hola familia!

President Priccoli and wife & President Prince and wife
We had interviews with our new president this week and it went alright. President Priccoli is very different than president Prince. President Prince was like always very animated and this new president is like really serious and talks slow but he's cool and I know I will learn a lot from him. When we talked I thought it was going to be more in depth but he asked me about myself and asked if I needed help with anything and that was it ha-ha. I admit I was a bit disappointed. :( but it's okay I'm sure we will have more time at a later time. This week has been hard we are teaching a couple but the guy is not wanting to progress but she is very interested in the church. The problem is that he doesn't want to commit to her either and that is very sad. We have tried everything and he won't change. I'm not sure if we can continue to teach her but hope we can. There's another family that we are teaching as well. They are so awesome they love us and we love them. They are all progressing really well and I'm sure they will be baptized but first they need to come 3 times to church and they can only come every other week because one has to stay to take care of the father and by that time I think I will be gone so I might not be here to baptize them but its okay. I love them and they're super awesome.

My testimony has been growing strong here on the mission. When you teach the people everyday about this truth you can't help but ponder about it deeply in your heart. This pondering helps me strive to be better everyday. The spirit testifies every day about the truthfulness of the gospel.

This week my companion did something really crazy ha-ha. I was showering and he found some rotten eggs in the house and he opened the door and threw them at me. They were so rotten that they were black inside and it smelled so bad. I ran out of the bathroom screaming like crazy running all over the house ha-ha. The worst part is that it smelled so bad I wanted to throw up. The whole house smelled pretty bad. I have never smelled anything like that in my life. We had to clean it up and it took like 3 hours to take that smell out of the house. Those were the highlights of my week.

I love you guys talk to you next week.

Crazy, adventurous week! amazing spiritual baptism!

Hi Family.
It's so great to hear from you and to hear about your wonderful vacation. LOOKS like you guys had a good time. Well this week was crazy and  full of adventure with my companion. Tuesday we had two baptisms and the mission president asked us if he could bring all the new missionaries that just came so that was sure cool but at the same time stressful because we were the example for the 20 new missionaries that came. Everything had to be perfect and we worked really hard to make it perfect but one thing fell. We asked our zone leaders if we could borrow a dress for one of the girls and they said of course we will bring it to the baptism and when we arrived we asked them and they had forgotten ugh! so we had to wait for them to run home to get the dress and we ended up starting 45 minutes late! Needless to say  the president was not happy but afterwards it was super spiritual. One of our investigators felt the spirit so strong that she also decided to get baptized, and she did it on Saturday. So in total we had 3 baptisms this week. That's so amazing.
We have some investigators that are paisas and they have a little problem with mice.in their house ha-ha when we are teaching they are always running around in the kitchen and it's so hard to focus. The mice also like to always be on the dinner table so one night they served us food and they said. "lets eat at the table", and I was like no it's okay better on my lap so we can keep teaching. I was not about to eat on the table with mice no sir ha-ha. My companion was cracking up, it was toooo funny. Another funny thing that happened was that my companion was the one that baptized and when he was changing he slipped and fell on his butt and got all wet and we were laughing for like half an hour and could not stop while everyone was waiting on us. Sorry, I can't write more we got here late and I don't have anymore time because we have to get back to work teaching the people about the truth. Love you guys.

New Companionship - Same Area

Hola querida familia y amigos,

This week we did divisions and several of the missionaries that were serving in Peru had to switch missions so I was with one of those missionnaies and it just so happens that he was in the same mission as Cesar and was his compaion ha-ha. It was awesome we talked about him and laughed and everything. His name is elder Melendez he told me a lot of fun stories about Cesar and it was great. I learned a lot from him also he has a lot of knowledge. My current companion is awesome we are always laughing and everyone here loves us and he's new too so we both are like super excited to work and have 2 baptisms this week and not only that but all the new missionaries that are coming tomorrow are going to be at our baptisms with the mission president. The President asked us if we could do it and we said heck yes and we did it 2 baptisms. It's going to be awesome and super spiritual. I'm super excited. My new companion's name is elder Munera and we are going to be together one cambio mas entonces 6 semanas (weeks). We are super excited, honestly I have never laughed so much in my life but at the same time work like crazy I love the combination.
Today for P-Day we went to visit Dora because no one else from the family answers their phone so we went over there and also visited Manuel and his family and it was awesome. After that we went shopping for ties at the mall and we contacted like 5 people because my companion is very friendly ha-ha, he starts talking and making them laugh. Then I come in and and talk about the gospel once they have opened up its like a 1, 2 combo ha-ha. I felt super bad because we started talking with a paisa and she said she could not understand anything I was saying like I don't speak Spanish well. I think she was messing with me. I'm really happy being a missionary, I like that I can make a difference and it makes me want to work harder.
I have an investigator right now her name is Leydi I baptized all her family and shes the only one left, but she's like a hard Testigo de Jehova. She won't accept that Jehova is Christ even after I show her a million scriptures that clearly say that he's Christ and she won't accept that it was Gods plan for Adam and Eve to fall in sin, and lots of other little things. But she's in a mind cluster because she has felt the spirit so much but just can't accept those things so little by little we are helping her and I think she will be baptized soon.
The mission president prohibited insanity and I was getting buff doing that everyday and now we can't do it. I'm super sad as I know now that I'm going to get fat ha-ha. You asked about my zone and my zone is great. My companion and I are the best companionship in the zone. Everyone is trying to reach us but it makes us work even harder so that no one ctaches up to us haha. Well I'm so sorry that I can't wirte more I arrived a little late to wirte today so have to go. I love you guys.

New Mission President and new companion

Hello Family and Friends,

I hope you are all doing well. This week was a good one. I have a new companion and had two more baptisms. My companion is good, he reminds me of a young kid because he acts like a child all the time. It's funny because he's always joking around and messing with everyone and I'm the serious one ha-ha. The funny thing is that he was not supposed to be my companion but because he had problems with his other companion I had to switch. He arrived during the last week of my training so he goes around telling everyone that he's training me even though I'm the one taking care of him. I am always telling him what he needs to do ha-ha. He's only been here 6 weeks more than me. I'm learning to be humble and to have patience with him. Before my new companion arrived we had 2 baptisms scheduled that day and had dates for 2 more this past Saturday. That made elder Munoz really happy that he was able to participate on 4 baptisms since he got here. He is cool and childish. I have to remind him he's a missionary all the time but we get alone really well and are always laughing.
Nothing too exciting happened this week just the changes of companions and next Monday I might change companion again ha-ha. I have had like 5 compaions in 3 months already crazy haha but I love it here.

We now have a new mission president he is from Paraguay. His name is President Priccoli, him and his wife are pretty cool and they look cute together. We got to hear him speak  and he's really good. He inspired me when he talked to us. I like that a lot because I leave ready to conquer the world ha-ha. I am sure there will be changes but they have not been put in place yet. I still have not noticed the difference. I imagine that in these weeks to come we will see the changes and how that goes.

I called Elizabeth but the number would not go through, I'm going to try and go next week to see her. Porfavor manda saludos a mis abuelos y dile que los amo mucho. You asked about my investigators right now I have like 3 that are getting ready for baptism we will need to stop teaching the others because they don't want to progress. Esta semana vamos a dedicar a encontrar nuevos investigadores porque ya hemos bautizados a todos los que tenia ha-ha ya llevo como 16 bautismos es muy chevere.

Nothing exciting happened this week just worked like always but the day Colombia played against Brazil everyone was crying and the streets were dead it was actually kinda sad.
It's so awesome that you guys are biking. Riding makes me so happy, a little jeaouls but happy ha-ha. I'm sorry to hear about your fall but its part of the sport to fall and cut yourself. It's all worth it now you have stories to tell at work ha-ha. Please send my regards to Tatas and Chris that was nice that they came to visit.

Always say your prayers and read together like a family. Show Karo how she should live her life in the gospel because if she learns those principles from now they will always stay with her.
I love you guys until next week.
